Wednesday Bible Study
Join us as we meet Wednesday evenings in the Cafe at 6:00 for dinner and fellowship. We will begin our study through the Psalms at 7:00 pm.
AWANA
AWANA is our exciting ministry that meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We welcome children 3 years old through 6th grade. Come join us and help your children to "know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ."
Women's Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study for fall has begun. You may attend at 7:00 pm Monday in the Fireside Room on south campus or at 9:00 am Thursday at Vi Goodrich's home. Child care for this study is in Fellowship Hall. Contact Claudia Creamer at 823.2349 for more information.
Christmas Tea and Craft Boutique
There will be a brief planning meeting on Sunday, October 15th in Fellowship Hall right after the service. Please come if you are interested in hostessing a table or helping in any way. The Christmas Tea will take place on Monday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m.
Nursing Home Ministry Oct. 15
We will visit Clearwater Commons next Sunday at 1:30 pm. It is a privilege to share the gospel and worship with these blessed people. All interested in participating in this ministry, please contact Cindy Bailey.
Volleyball Regional Tournament
Our Horizon Varsity Volleyball team will play Friday, October 20 at 8:00 pm in the first round of ICSTS regional play. Admission is $5 for a full weekend of Regional games.
Volleyball and Soccer State Tournaments
Horizon is privileged to host this year's ICSTS Tournaments on October 27 & 28. Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful weekend. Use your gifts of service in various areas such as concessions, admissions, security, and hospitality. Please visit the table in the foyer or call Debbie Meyers at 823.2349 to sign up to help with this exciting event.
Prayer and Fasting
Join us November 6 - 10. for a week of prayer and fasting. We will join Horizon San Diego via webcast from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall each evening.
CISM Enhancement Training
Mark your calendars for this time sensitive training coming to Horizon. Mike McIntosh and Mickey Stonier will be here December 5 & 6 to teach participants in appropriate methods of crisis intervention. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
Support Horizon Christian School
HCS sells gift certificates every Sunday for Marsh, Kroger, and Kohl's. These are used just like cash to make purchases at all three stores. These may be purchased in the foyer or you can call the school office at 823-4538 for more information.
