The vision of the Children’s Ministry is to love, serve, and shepherd children so that they are encouraged to choose an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, to grow in their relationship with Him, and to be equipped to live a life committed to serving Him.
The children’s ministry provides numerous opportunities for children to be encouraged in the Lord. We offer Sunday School classes for children of ages infant through the sixth grade, children’s church, children’s choir on Sunday mornings, and AWANA on Wednesday nights. Plus, the ministry has many special events throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School, Children’s Ministry Graduation, Happy Birthday Jesus Party, Harvest Festival, and more. Hear ye! Hear ye! Attention all knights and fair maidens! Lower the drawbridge! Open the gates! Get ready to charge into a time filled with kings, kingdoms, and majestic castles! Amidst the pages of The Kingdom Chronicles, your knights and fair maidens will:

* Discover that we’re involved in a battle between two kingdoms — the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the Enemy.
* Understand how they can become citizens of God’s heavenly kingdom.
* Learn to prepare for battle by wearing the full armor of God daily.
* Be equipped to serve and obey our heavenly Commander—the King of kings.
* Determine to train their brains to know, memorize, and obey God’s Word!

VBS is for kids 3 years (must be potty trained) of age through 6th grade. You can also sign up to volunteer in snacks, crafts, games, music, or as a troop leader (call the  church office at 317-823-2349).
