Camp Indy

Climbing the rock wallCamp Indy is a summer day camp on Horizon campus for any kid from age 4-13 that trains kids up in the Word of God while having a lot of fun! Every week, several different “specialty camps” are available that each center around different themes, like climbing camp, swimming camp, various types of sports camps, and much much more. During the course of the day each camper will have a time called “Cool Group”, where one of their counselors will teach them straight from the Bible! Camp runs for ten weeks every summer and is directed by Wes Hoff. There are over 400 different campers every summer! You can visit the website for more pictures and information!

A Few of the Camps

Outdoor Adventure
Outdoor adventure camp is all about hiking, nature discoveries, cookouts, and overnight camping! We will use our challenge course (including a 40′ climbing tower) at Camp Indy to teach your camper skills in communication, teamwork, and trust.

Horseback
Horseback campers will learn basics in riding, horse care, equestrian equipment, and practice each daily at the Fort Benjamin Harrison Horse Barn. This camp will focus on life lessons in responsibility, following directions, and appreciation for God’s creation.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Swim
Whether your camper swims like a fish or requires a floaty, Camp Indy has instructors and a life-guarding staff to teach your camper all about fun in our pool! Campers will learn stroke techniques (free style, breast stroke, back stroke, and the butterfly), games and water safety.

Sports Camps
Every year there are several different camps dedicated just for sports, including basketball, soccer, flag football, gymnastics, cheer, and just all around sports! These camps are perfect for the competitive sport devotee and the casually active kid alike!
