Home Fellowships

Acts 2:40-47 provides a model as the basis for Horizon's Home Fellowships. This ministry is to help keep the believer built up in the Bible, fellowship, prayer, worship, body ministry (meeting one another's needs) and community outreach. Meeting in homes in small groups (10-15 people) allows each individual to be an integral part of the fellowship/church. Close, personal relationships form, resulting in true loving fellowship, where we may grow through ministering to each other. This responsibility to each other is matched by accountability for one another. Personal evangelism is accomplished in a neutral environment. Community outreach is practiced on a weekly basis by bringing the Gospel to the people in the home fellowship's neighborhood.
